Our locations

We snorkel at four beautiful locations - each with their own natural beauty, including a lot of marine life! Each of these locations are relatively close in proximity and we choose the best location for the day based on water visibility and the safety.

We are currently running group snorkeling tours at Clovelly Beach and Gordons Bay.

If you would like a specific location, please consider a private or family tour and get in touch via our contact form. We will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Clovelly

Clovelly Beach is a unique V-shaped beach with a narrow inlet surrounded by promenades and natural rock formations. The calm waters make it perfect for snorkeling, with vibrant schools of fish and occasionally blue groper sighted near the rocks. It’s a great spot for families and those looking for easy water access.

    What makes this place unique:

Clovelly has a diverse variety of sealife in one very protected location. A rock wall at the end of the beach acts as a barrier, preventing larger marine predators from entering. This makes it a safe and relaxing snorkeling spot.

It’s also a sanctuary for marine life. Many fish are so comfortable that they will often come right up to you! Sting rays, schools of fish, nudibraches, and more inhabit this area.

Some creatures, like octopuses, camoflauge themselves in this environment. But, don’t worry, our guides now this area very well and will point them out!

    Drive Time from Bondi Beach:
    Approximately 10 minutes (5 km).

  • Gordons Bay

Tucked between Clovelly and Coogee, Gordon's Bay is a secluded snorkeling paradise accessible via a scenic coastal walk. Its underwater nature trail is a highlight, offering a guided snorkeling experience with markers identifying marine species like starfish, sea urchins, and moray eels. The calm bay is protected by rocky cliffs, ensuring excellent conditions for snorkeling.

    What makes this place unique:

Gordons Bay is popular among locals for its crystal-clear waters and tranquil environment.

This location has much of the same sealife as Clovelly - including large blue gropers - but because Gordons Bay is a little more exposed to the open ocean there is a chance to spot larger creatures. We’ve even seen fiddler rays, spotted wobbegongs, and cuttlefish gliding through the water.

    Drive Time from Bondi Beach:
    Approximately 12 minutes (6 km).

  • Little Bay

Little Bay is a locals spot known for its picture-perfect beauty and seclusion. It’s a small cove south of Clovelly, featuring calm, clear waters surrounded by dramatic rocky headlands. The sheltered conditions create a haven for snorkeling, with colorful fish, stingrays, and coral formations.

    What makes this place unique:

Little Bay is known for its pristine conditions, often feeling like a hidden gem away from crowds.

Under and around rocks are teeming with life. Recently we have seen estuary catfish, cuttlefish, banjo rays and a school of old wife fish.

    Drive Time from Bondi Beach:
    Approximately 20 minutes (10 km).

  • Malabar

Malabar Beach is a lesser-known gem located near Long Bay. Its tranquil waters and rocky reefs make it ideal for snorkeling. The sheltered environment ensures visibility is often excellent, and the area is home to diverse marine species such as wrasse, rays, and snapper. The nearby Malabar Headland National Park provides stunning coastal views and walking trails.

    What makes this place unique:

It’s one of the quieter snorkeling spots, perfect for those seeking a peaceful experience.

Some of the most interesting aspects of Malabar are a few meters below the surface, require you to duck dive to see them. There is even parts of old ships, such as anchors, that you can find in the water.

    Drive Time from Bondi Beach:
    Approximately 20 minutes (10 km).
